1903 Morgan Dollar MS-63 PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1903 MS-63 (PCGS)

The 1903 Morgan silver dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this particular coin does not bear a mint mark, which is the standard signature for pieces produced at the main Philadelphia facility during this period. Containing 0.77344 troy ounces of silver with a purity of 90 percent, this specimen has survived in remarkable condition, earning a certified grade of Mint State 63. On the obverse side, a left-facing profile of Liberty is depicted. She wears a traditional Phrygian cap, and her hair band is inscribed with the word LIBERTY. The reverse side displays a powerful bald eagle with its wings spread. In its talons, the eagle firmly grasps an olive branch alongside a bundle of arrows, symbolizing both peace and readiness.
