This ten-dollar gold piece, struck in 1903, represents a fascinating chapter in American coinage. Produced at the historic New Orleans Mint, the coin carries the 'O' mint mark, signaling its southern origin. It belongs to a series minted between 1838 and 1907, a time when gold actively circulated as currency.
