Struck in the year 1904, this impressive twenty-dollar gold piece represents a classic era of United States coinage. Every specimen contains 0.9675 troy ounces of gold, minted with a purity of 0.900. This particular coin has been certified with a Prooflike finish at a Mint State 63 grade, highlighting its reflective fields and sharp details. The front of the coin displays the left-facing profile of Lady Liberty. Her hair is styled elegantly, secured by a crown adorned with pearls that displays the word LIBERTY. Directly beneath her portrait, the 1904 mintage year is clearly visible. Surrounding the central figure is a ring of stars, completing a balanced and traditional American motif. On the reverse, the design draws inspiration from the Great Seal of the United States. An eagle holds a shield, with the country of origin, United States of America, curved along the upper rim. The denomination is spelled out at the bottom of the design.
