The 1904 Morgan silver dollar stands as a remarkable artifact from the early twentieth century, originating from the historic New Orleans Mint. This specific coin has been certified in Mint State 63 (MS-63) condition, preserving the intricate details of its design. Struck from 0.900 fine silver, the coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. On the obverse, the profile of Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, which features a hair band inscribed with the word "Liberty". This central portrait is encircled by thirteen stars, the year of issue 1904, and the classic Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum". The reverse displays a bald eagle with its wings spread, grasping arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Surrounding the eagle are the inscriptions "United States of America" and "One Dollar", along with the motto "In God We Trust". Just above the denomination, the "O" mint mark is clearly visible, identifying its origin from the New Orleans minting facility.
