Struck at the Austrian Mint, this impressive gold coin carries a face value of 100 Korona. It is a restrike of the original 1908 issue, containing 0.9802 troy ounces of gold. The coin is composed of 90 percent pure gold, representing a significant denomination from the pre-1933 era. The obverse displays a detailed, full-length portrait of Franz Josef I standing and facing to his right. On the reverse, the crowned coat of arms of Hungary is prominently featured, flanked on either side by supporting angels.
