0.4838 troy oz .900 1911 PCGS

In 1911, the Philadelphia Mint produced 505,500 of these ten-dollar gold pieces. Because they were struck at the main minting facility, they carry no mint mark. Today, surviving examples offer a window into early twentieth-century American coinage, showcasing the bold artistry of the era. This particular coin has been certified in Mint State 63 (MS-63) condition, indicating it has retained its original luster and sharp details over more than a century. Minted from 0.900 fine gold, the coin contains 0.4838 troy ounces of precious metal. The obverse features a proud profile wearing a traditional Native American headdress, with the word LIBERTY and the 1911 date clearly visible. The reverse displays a standing eagle alongside the national mottos, E PLURIBUS UNUM and IN GOD WE TRUST, with the denomination spelled out as TEN DOLLARS.
