This ten-dollar gold piece from 1913 represents a fascinating era in United States coinage. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin was part of a production run of 442,000 pieces. Because it was minted in Philadelphia, it carries no mint mark, leaving its clean surfaces to showcase the artistry of the design.
