In 1915, the Philadelphia Mint produced a run of 351,000 ten-dollar gold coins, each containing 0.484 troy ounces of pure gold. Because they were struck at the main Philadelphia facility, these pieces bear no mint mark, leaving the focus entirely on the striking artistry of the design. The obverse of this coin features a bold depiction of Liberty wearing a Native American feathered headdress, with the word LIBERTY arching above and the date 1915 anchored below. This specific piece has survived more than a century in remarkable condition, earning a certified grade of Mint State 64 (MS-64) for its preserved luster and sharp details.
