1915-D Buffalo Nickel BU

0.0000 troy oz 1915 Brilliant Unc

The 1915 Buffalo nickel stands as a classic representative of early twentieth-century American coinage. Minted in Denver, this five-cent piece is distinguished by the small letter D located on its reverse side. Surviving in a Brilliant Uncirculated state, this coin preserves the sharp details of its original manufacture, allowing observers to appreciate the artistry of its design just as it looked when it first left the coining press. Created by the sculptor James Earle Fraser, the coin presents two powerful, distinctly American subjects. The front displays a dignified profile of a Native American facing right, accompanied by the year 1915. On the reverse, a massive American bison stands on a raised mound. Legible inscriptions on the coin include the country name, the national motto, and the denomination of five cents.
