Struck at the San Francisco Mint, this ten-cent silver piece from 1920 represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted with a silver purity of 90 percent, the coin contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. This particular specimen survived decades of circulation, retaining enough detail to be classified in Fine condition. The obverse features a youthful depiction of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap, a design element originally sculpted by Adolph Weinman. Legible inscriptions on this side include the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," alongside the 1920 date. On the reverse, the design showcases a traditional fasces paired with an olive branch, symbolizing both strength and peace. The outer rim is inscribed with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination "ONE DIME," while the Latin phrase "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is nestled in the right field. The tiny "S" mint mark near the bottom rim confirms its origin from the West Coast minting facility.
