Struck in 1921, this Mexican silver coin carries a face value of 2 Pesos and contains 0.7717 troy ounces of pure silver. It represents a classic era of Mexican coinage, minted with a fineness of 0.900 silver at the historic Mexico City Mint, which is indicated by the Mo mint mark. A total of 1,278,000 of these pieces were produced, cataloged today as KM-462. The obverse of the coin displays the traditional Mexican coat of arms, showing an eagle perched atop a cactus while gripping a snake. This side also bears the year of issue rendered in Roman numerals as MCMXXI. On the reverse, the design showcases the striking figure of Winged Victory, who holds a laurel wreath high.
