1921 Morgan Silver Dollar BU - w/Merry Christmas Card
The 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar represents the final chapter of a classic American coin series. Originally minted from 1878 to 1904, this iconic silver piece returned for just one final year of production in 1921. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of its historic design and containing 0.7734 troy ounces of 90 percent pure silver. On the obverse, a left-facing profile of Lady Liberty breaks from traditional European styling to present a distinctly American appearance, modeled after Anna Willess Williams. Her cap is decorated with native agricultural elements, specifically wheat and cotton. The reverse displays a highly detailed bald eagle with realistically proportioned feathers. The national bird is depicted clutching an olive branch of peace and a bundle of war arrows, surrounded by the inscriptions United States of America, One Dollar, and the national motto, In God We Trust.
