The 1921-S Walking Liberty half dollar represents a remarkably scarce issue within one of America's most celebrated silver coin series. Struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1921, this coin comes from a remarkably low original mintage of just 548,000 pieces. Finding examples preserved in Fine condition offers a fascinating glimpse into the early twentieth-century circulating coinage of the United States. Designed by Adolph Weinman, the coin features a poetic and powerful obverse.
