On the obverse, the design presents a profile of Lady Liberty. She wears a crown of pointed, radiating light beams, with the date of 1922 positioned directly beneath her portrait. The legend "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed across the field, reflecting a classic national motto. The reverse side of the coin shifts the focus to a symbolic bald eagle. The bird is depicted at rest on a mountain crag, clutching an olive branch. Below the eagle, the word "PEACE" is inscribed, anchoring the theme of the entire series.
