In 1923, the Denver Mint produced a striking twenty dollar gold piece that remains a testament to the heights of American numismatic art. This specific coin has been graded in Mint State 65 (MS-65), indicating a remarkable state of preservation that allows its intricate details to shine just as they did when it first left the coining press. The front of the coin presents a powerful depiction of Lady Liberty walking forward, bathed in the rays of a rising sun. In her hands, she carries a lit torch to light the way and an olive branch representing peace. The year 1923 is clearly visible on this side, alongside the traditional motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" rendered in a classic style.
