0.7734 troy oz .900 1923 Brilliant Unc

The 1923 Peace Dollar struck at the Denver Mint represents a fascinating moment in American silver coinage. Minted with a composition of 90 percent silver, this coin contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. The Denver Mint produced a total of 6,811,000 of these dollars in 1923, each bearing the small letter D mint mark to signify its origin. On the obverse side, the profile of Lady Liberty is depicted wearing a crown of sharp, radiating light beams. The date of 1923 is positioned directly below her portrait, accompanied by the inscription IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse side features a powerful bald eagle perched quietly on an olive branch, gazing toward the horizon. The word PEACE is inscribed at the very bottom beneath the eagle, a design element that gave this silver dollar series its name. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, falling within the grade range of MS 60 to MS 63.
