In 1925, the San Francisco Mint produced a limited run of 1,610,000 silver dollars, featuring a design that celebrated the return of global harmony. This particular specimen is graded Almost Uncirculated 58, preserving the fine details of its original strike. Composed of 90 percent silver, each of these coins contains 0.7734 troy ounces of precious metal. The obverse displays a profile of Lady Liberty wearing a crown of pointed light rays, with her hair gently blowing in the wind. The word "LIBERTY" arches above her, while the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST" is split across the field, and the date 1925 is positioned at the bottom. This portrait was modeled after Teresa de Francisci, bringing a personal, human touch to the national currency. On the reverse, an American bald eagle is perched on a mountain crag, clutching an olive branch. The word "PEACE" is inscribed on the rock below the eagle. The coin's denomination, "ONE DOLLAR", is split by the eagle's form, and the "S" mint mark beneath the olive branch indicates its origin at the San Francisco facility.
