Struck in 1926, this ten-cent piece is a beautiful representation of American coinage from the era before 1933. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver, containing 0.0715 troy ounces of the precious metal. It is preserved in Extra Fine condition, allowing observers to appreciate the finer details of its artistry. The obverse displays a youthful depiction of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap, a design element that frequently led the public to mistake her for the Roman messenger god, Mercury. This side bears the date 1926 alongside the traditional motto of trust. On the reverse, the central imagery consists of a fasces, which is a bound bundle of wooden rods with an axe blade emerging, positioned alongside an olive branch. The Latin phrase meaning "out of many, one" and the denomination are clearly inscribed on this side.
