The 1926-S Peace Dollar stands as a remarkable artifact of American coinage, struck at the San Francisco Mint during the interwar era. This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, showcasing the original luster and detail of its design just as it was when minted nearly a century ago. It contains 0.7734 troy ounces of silver, with a purity of 90 percent. On the obverse, the coin displays a profile of Lady Liberty, her hair gently stirred by the wind, crowned with a diadem of sharp, radiating beams of light. The design is accompanied by the inscribed motto "IN GOD WE TRUST", rendered with a classic "V" in place of the "U" in "TRUST". The reverse side presents a powerful yet serene composition featuring a bald eagle perched upon a mountain crag. The eagle holds an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing a desire for harmony. Directly beneath the majestic bird, the word "PEACE" is inscribed, which gives the coin series its name.
