In 1932, the Philadelphia Mint produced a run of 4,463,000 ten-dollar gold coins, marking one of the final years for this historic denomination before the era of circulating gold came to an end. This particular specimen has survived in exceptional condition, certified by professional graders at Mint State 65 (MS-65). Because it was struck at the main Philadelphia facility, it bears no mint mark. The coin showcases the famous design created by the celebrated sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. On the obverse, a striking profile wearing an Native American feather headdress is surrounded by stars, with the year 1932 anchored at the bottom. The reverse features a proud, standing eagle alongside the traditional inscriptions of national identity and trust, including "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", and "IN GOD WE TRUST". Struck from 0.900 fine gold, this piece contains 0.4838 troy ounces of precious metal. It represents a fascinating window into the final years of the Indian Head gold series, which circulated from 1907 to 1933.
