1935 Peace Dollar MS-65 PCGS

0.7734 troy oz .900 1935 MS-65 (PCGS)

The 1935 Peace Dollar represents the final year of this iconic United States silver coin series. Struck in 90 percent pure silver at the Philadelphia Mint, this particular specimen has survived the decades in an extraordinary state of preservation, earning a high grade of Mint State 65 (MS-65). With a total mintage of 1,576,000, these coins contain 0.7734 troy ounces of precious silver. The obverse of the coin displays a classic profile of Liberty wearing a radiant crown, accompanied by the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRVST" and the date "1935". On the reverse, an eagle rests on a mountain crag, looking toward the dawn, with the word "PEACE" inscribed at the base. The reverse also features the denomination "ONE DOLLAR". Because it was minted in Philadelphia, this coin does not bear a mint mark.
