Minted in Denver, this five-cent piece is composed of copper and nickel, showing off the distinctive design elements of the series in an Almost Uncirculated state. The coin captures a transition era in American minting, blending rugged realism with national iconography. On the obverse, the profile of an American Indian faces right, a composite portrait created by designer James Earle Fraser. The word LIBERTY is inscribed along the upper right edge, with the year 1936 positioned at the lower left.
