The 1945 Walking Liberty half dollar represents a classic era of American silver coinage. Struck at the Denver Mint, this fifty-cent piece is composed of 90 percent silver, containing 0.3575 troy ounces of the precious metal. Kept in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the coin preserves the fine details of its original striking, allowing observers to appreciate the artistry of its mid-twentieth-century design. On the obverse, Adolph Weinman's celebrated design depicts Lady Liberty draped in the American flag, moving gracefully toward a rising sun. She cradles a bundle of oak and olive branches in her left arm, symbolizing both strength and peace, while her right arm is outstretched in a welcoming gesture. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed in the field behind her. The reverse displays a powerful eagle perched upon a high mountain crag.
