0.3575 troy oz .900 1946 Brilliant Unc

The 1946 Walking Liberty half dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck in 90 percent silver at the Denver Mint, this fifty-cent piece showcases a design by Adolph Weinman that remains celebrated for its artistic grace and detailed execution. On the obverse, the figure of Liberty strides gracefully toward a rising sun, cradling a bundle of branches in her arm. The reverse displays a powerful eagle perched atop a rugged stone outcrop, its wings swept upward as if preparing to launch into the sky. Legible inscriptions on the coin include the national mottoes "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM," alongside the name of the issuing nation. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the crisp details of Weinman's mid-century masterpiece just as it appeared when it left the Denver facility in 1946.
