0.0715 troy oz .900 1949 Brilliant Unc

Struck at the Denver Mint in 1949, this ten-cent piece is a brilliant uncirculated example of mid-twentieth-century American coinage. Composed of 90 percent silver, the coin contains approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of precious metal, reflecting the traditional metallic standards of the era. The obverse of the coin presents a profile portrait of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, facing left, accompanied by the inscription of the word Liberty. This design was introduced to honor the late president shortly after his passing. On the reverse, the coin displays three distinct symbols arranged from left to right: an olive branch, a lit torch, and an oak branch. These elements represent peace, liberty, and strength. The reverse also bears the denomination, One Dime, along with the United States of America country name.
