Struck at the Denver mint in 1950, this mid-century silver half dollar represents a classic era of American coinage. The obverse presents a right-facing portrait of Benjamin Franklin, one of the nation's most celebrated founding figures. Accompanying his likeness are the inscriptions of liberty and trust that define the country's coinage tradition.
