0.1788 troy oz .900 1950 NGC

This mid-century silver quarter, minted in Denver in 1950, represents a beautiful intersection of American coinage history and exceptional preservation. Struck with a silver purity of 90 percent, the coin contains 0.17875 troy ounces of precious metal. It has been certified in an outstanding MS-67 state of preservation, highlighting the sharpness of its original details and the quality of its strike. The obverse features the familiar left-facing profile of George Washington, a design created by John Flanagan. Accompanying the portrait are the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, alongside the 1950 date. On the reverse, a majestic eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide. The reverse design also incorporates the national motto, E Pluribus Unum, the country name, and the quarter dollar denomination. Denver's contribution to this coin's creation is marked by the distinctive D mint mark located on the reverse.
