1950 Roosevelt Dime PF-66 NGC

0.0715 troy oz .900 1950 PF-66 (NGC)

In 1950, the Philadelphia Mint produced a limited run of proof Roosevelt dimes, striking just 51,386 of these special pieces. Because they were minted in Philadelphia, these coins do not carry a mint mark. This particular specimen has been certified in Proof 66 condition, showcasing the crisp details and polished finishes characteristic of mid-century proof coinage. The obverse of the ten-cent piece displays the left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. On the reverse, the design features a central torch flanked by an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. Composed of 90 percent silver, this dime contains approximately 0.0723 troy ounces of precious metal, representing a classic era of United States silver coinage.
