Sinnock, the obverse features a clean, right-facing profile of Benjamin Franklin. Surrounding his likeness are the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1951 date. The reverse of the coin displays the historic Liberty Bell, complete with its famous crack and a small eagle with spread wings to the right.
