1955-S Roosevelt Dime BU

0.0715 troy oz .900 1955 Brilliant Unc

The 1955-S Roosevelt dime represents a classic era of United States silver coinage. Minted in San Francisco, this ten-cent piece is composed of 90 percent silver, containing approximately 0.0715 to 0.0723 troy ounces of the precious metal. Preserved in brilliant uncirculated condition, the coin retains its original mint luster and sharp details just as it looked when it first left the coining press. On the obverse, the profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt faces left, accompanied by the word LIBERTY and the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The mint mark S and the date 1955 are also clearly visible. The reverse design presents a powerful trio of symbols arranged from left to right: a peaceful olive branch, a central lit torch representing liberty, and a strong oak branch. The legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DIME frame this symbolic trio, alongside the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
