1957 Roosevelt Dime PF-67 NGC

0.0715 troy oz .900 1957 Proof - 67 (NGC)

During the mid-twentieth century, the Philadelphia Mint produced a limited run of proof coinage, including the 1957 Roosevelt dime. Out of a mintage of 1,247,952 proof pieces struck that year, very few survive in such an exceptional state of preservation. This particular coin has been certified in Proof 67 condition, a grade that highlights its remarkably clean surfaces and sharp details. Struck in 90 percent silver, this ten-cent piece contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. Because it was minted in Philadelphia, it does not carry a mint mark. The reverse design features a torch flanked by olive and oak branches, surrounded by the traditional inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DIME.
