This mid-century half dollar, minted in 1959, offers a fascinating glimpse into American coinage history. Struck in Philadelphia, this particular silver coin does not display a mint mark, which is characteristic of the facility's production at the time. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver, containing 0.3575 troy ounces of the precious metal, and remains in brilliant uncirculated condition.
