1960-D Roosevelt Dime BU

0.0715 troy oz .900 1960 Brilliant Unc

The 1960 Roosevelt dime from the Denver Mint offers a brilliant uncirculated look at a classic mid-century American coin. Struck in 90% silver, this ten-cent piece contains 0.0723 troy ounces of precious metal, representing the era before the United States transitioned its circulating coinage to base metals. The obverse displays the left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding his portrait are the legible inscriptions of LIBERTY and the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1960 date and the Denver "D" mint mark. On the reverse, the design features a central torch flanked by an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. These elements are framed by the country name UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the denomination ONE DIME, with the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM split across the lower field.
