This particular specimen, certified in Mint State 64, is distinguished by its Full Bell Lines designation. This means the horizontal lines on the lower portion of the Liberty Bell are exceptionally sharp and complete, a detail that enthusiasts find particularly compelling because it indicates a remarkably strong strike. The obverse of this 0.3575 troy ounce silver coin features a right-facing profile of Benjamin Franklin, designed by John R. Sinnock. Surrounding the portrait are the inscriptions for liberty, the national motto of trust, and the 1962 date. On the reverse, the famous Liberty Bell takes center stage, flanked by a small eagle with its wings spread wide. The design is completed with the traditional motto of unity, the country of origin, and the half dollar denomination.
