This particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, meaning it retains its original mint luster and sharp details just as it looked when it left the Philadelphia Mint in 1962. On the obverse, the coin displays the left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding his portrait are the legible inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1962 date and the small designer initials JS. The reverse design is rich with symbolism, presenting three distinct objects arranged side by side.
