Struck in 1963 at the Denver Mint, this ninety percent silver half dollar represents the final year of its series. The coin features a right-facing portrait of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse, accompanied by the inscriptions of liberty and the national motto. Designed by John R. Sinnock, this issue contains 0.3575 troy ounces of pure silver. The reverse displays the iconic Liberty Bell alongside a small eagle with spread wings. This particular specimen is certified at a Mint State 64 grade and carries the coveted Full Bell Lines designation, indicating that the horizontal lines on the lower portion of the bell are exceptionally well-defined and complete. The reverse also bears the traditional inscription of the United States of America, the denomination, and the Latin phrase meaning out of many, one.
