The 1963 Franklin half dollar represents a classic era of United States silver coinage. Minted in Denver, this particular piece is certified in Mint State 64 (MS-64) condition. On the obverse, the coin displays a right-facing portrait of Benjamin Franklin, one of America's most famous founding figures. Surrounding his profile are the inscriptions of liberty and the national motto, alongside the 1963 date. The design was created by John R. Sinnock. The reverse of the coin features a detailed depiction of the historic Liberty Bell, complete with its famous crack. To the right of the bell, a small eagle with spread wings is visible. The reverse also bears the inscriptions indicating the half dollar denomination, the country of origin, and the traditional motto of unity.
