Struck in Philadelphia, this 1963 silver coin showcases a profile of Benjamin Franklin on its obverse, looking toward the right. The words LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST surround the portrait, with the date positioned to the right of the famous statesman. This issue bears no mint mark, indicating its origin at the primary United States minting facility. The reverse of the half dollar features the historic Liberty Bell as its central motif, flanked by a small eagle with its wings spread wide. Legible inscriptions on this side include the denomination HALF DOLLAR, the country of origin, and the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. Designed by John R.
