This particular specimen has achieved an exceptional Proof 69 Cameo grade, indicating its near-flawless preservation and the beautiful, high-contrast visual effect between the frosted design elements and the reflective fields. The front of the coin displays a left-facing portrait of George Washington, originally designed by John Flanagan. This familiar depiction is accompanied by the inscriptions of liberty and the national motto. On the other side, a bald eagle stands with its wings fully extended, surrounded by the country's name and the denomination of one quarter dollar.
