1.0300 troy oz .900 1967 MS-69 (NGC)

Struck in Switzerland by the Huguenin mint, this impressive gold coin from 1967 marks a century since the birth of the celebrated literary figure Ruben Dario in 1867. The issue features a limited mintage of 15,000 to 16,000 pieces, with each coin containing 1.03 ounces of actual gold weight. This specific specimen has achieved an exceptional grade of Mint State 69, indicating it is in nearly perfect condition. The obverse of the coin displays a portrait bust of Ruben Dario, accompanied by his birth year and the commemorative inscription marking his centenary. On the reverse, the national emblem of Nicaragua is enclosed within a central circle. The reverse also displays the face value of 50 Cordobas, the gold purity of 900/1000, and the HF mint mark representing the Swiss fabricator.
