1968-D Roosevelt Dime BU
The 1968 Roosevelt dime represents a classic era of modern United States circulating coinage. Struck at the Denver Mint, this particular specimen is preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, maintaining the original luster and crisp details from the day it was minted. The coin is composed of copper, featuring the standard clad composition introduced in the mid 1960s. On the obverse, the coin displays a sharp profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt facing left. Accompanying his portrait are the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1968 year of issue. The small D mint mark, positioned just above the date, indicates its origin at the Denver facility. The reverse design features a central torch flanked by an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right. These elements symbolize peace, strength, and liberty. The inscriptions surrounding the central design include the country of origin, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the denomination ONE DIME, and the traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
