Each coin contains one troy ounce of pure gold in a durable 0.9167 fine alloy, presenting a brilliant uncirculated finish that preserves its original luster. The obverse side of the coin features the profile of Paul Kruger, surrounded by the name of the issuing nation inscribed in both Afrikaans, as SUID-AFRIKA, and English, as SOUTH AFRICA. On the reverse, the design showcases a springbok antelope, a national symbol of South Africa, shown in mid-stride across the grassy terrain.
