1971-D Roosevelt Dime BU

0.0000 troy oz 1971 Brilliant Unc

The 10 cent piece minted in Denver during 1971 presents a classic example of modern American pocket change preserved in exceptional condition. Struck in a copper-nickel composition, this Brilliant Uncirculated coin retains the sharp details and luster that typically fade quickly once a coin enters daily commerce. On the obverse, the coin displays a left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surrounding this portrait are the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, alongside the 1971 date and the small D mint mark, which identifies its origin at the Denver Mint. The reverse side features a rich array of symbolic flora framing a central torch. From left to right, an olive branch, an active torch, and an oak branch stretch upward. These elements are encircled by the national name, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the denomination, ONE DIME, with the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM split across the lower field.
