1975 Netherlands Gold Ducat PL 67 NGC

0.1100 troy oz .983 1975 NGC

Struck by the Royal Dutch Mint, this 1975 gold coin represents a continuation of a classic European numismatic tradition. With a very limited mintage of only 2,000 pieces, this issue is a scarce find for those who appreciate refined gold craftsmanship and historical design continuity. The obverse of the coin displays a standing knight clad in armor, grasping a bundle of arrows. Surrounding this figure is the Latin inscription "Concordia Res Parvae Crescunt", a traditional motto emphasizing strength through unity. The year of manufacture, 1975, is split on either side of the central figure. On the reverse, a decorated square frame contains the Latin inscription "Mo. Aur. Reg. Belgii Ad Legem Imperii", which translates to the gold coin of the Kingdom of the Netherlands under the law of the empire. This specific piece has been graded in an exceptional Prooflike 67 condition, highlighting its sharp details and reflective fields. Containing 0.11 ounces of gold with a purity of 0.983, it stands as a beautiful example of modern Dutch minting.
