1976 Roosevelt Dime BU
The 1976 Roosevelt dime offers a wonderful look at mid-twentieth-century American coinage design. Struck in Philadelphia during the nation's bicentennial year, this particular issue does not display a mint mark on its surface. Kept in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the coin retains its original luster and sharp details just as it appeared when first minted. The obverse of the coin presents a profile portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the thirty-second president of the United States. Accompanying his likeness are the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, alongside the clear date of 1976. On the reverse, three distinct symbols of American values are arranged from left to right. An olive branch representing peace, a lit torch symbolizing liberty, and an oak branch signifying strength and victory stand together. The legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DIME frame the central design, while the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is integrated into the background.
