1976-S Silver Eisenhower Dollar MS-67 PCGS

0.3161 troy oz .400 1976 PCGS

This silver dollar from 1976 stands as a fascinating tribute to both leadership and space exploration. The front of the coin displays a left-facing profile of Dwight David Eisenhower. Surrounding the former president's likeness are the word LIBERTY, the traditional motto IN GOD WE TRUST, and the dual bicentennial dates. A small mint mark is positioned just beneath his neck. On the reverse, the coin features the symbolic Apollo XI insignia. An eagle is depicted soaring above the lunar surface, holding an olive branch within its claws. In the background, the planet Earth is visible, with the continent of North America clearly defined. A ring of thirteen stars encircles the eagle, while the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR complete this detailed design.
