The bilingual inscriptions on the reverse highlight the round's Canadian heritage, featuring the words "BEAVER" and "CASTOR" alongside the manufacturer's name, "JOHNSON MATTHEY & MALLORY LTÉE". Struck from one troy ounce of 0.9999 fine gold, the round explicitly displays its weight and ultra-high purity on its surface, marked as "1oz 9999 FINE GOLD" and "PURE OR 24K".
