1981-P Roosevelt Dime BU

0.0000 troy oz 1981 Brilliant Unc

The 1981 Roosevelt dime from the Philadelphia Mint offers an engaging look at modern American coinage in brilliant uncirculated condition. The obverse of this ten cent piece displays a detailed profile portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the thirty second president of the United States. Accompanying his likeness are the traditional inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1981 year of issue and the P mint mark, which designates its origin at the Philadelphia Mint. On the reverse, the design presents three distinct symbols arranged from left to right: an olive branch representing peace, a central lighted torch symbolizing liberty, and an oak branch signifying strength and independence. Intertwined with these symbols is the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, while the outer legends read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the denomination, ONE DIME.
