1982-D Roosevelt Dime BU
The 1982 Roosevelt dime struck at the Denver Mint represents a classic era of modern United States coinage. This particular specimen survives in brilliant uncirculated condition, preserving the original luster and sharp details of the design as it emerged from the coining presses decades ago. On the obverse, the coin displays the left-facing portrait of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Accompanying this profile are the inscriptions of national ideals, including the word Liberty and the phrase In God We Trust. The year 1982 and the Denver Mint's signature D mint mark are also clearly visible on this side. The reverse side of the ten-cent piece presents a trio of symbolic elements arranged from left to right: an olive branch representing peace, a central lit torch symbolizing liberty, and an oak branch signifying strength and independence. Woven around these icons are the traditional inscriptions United States of America, the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum, and the face value of One Dime.
