1983-D Roosevelt Dime BU
The 1983 Roosevelt dime struck at the Denver Mint offers a wonderful look at modern American coinage in brilliant uncirculated condition. This ten-cent piece, composed of copper, showcases the familiar left-facing profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt on its obverse. Accompanying the portrait are the classic inscriptions of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, along with the 1983 year of issue and the distinct D mint mark representing its Denver origin. On the reverse side, the coin features a trio of symbolic elements arranged from left to right: a peaceful olive branch, a central lit torch, and a strong oak branch. The design is framed by the national identification, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the denomination, ONE DIME. The traditional motto, E PLURIBUS UNUM, is also integrated into the reverse layout, completing a design that remains a staple of daily commerce.
